School Budget Information |
Thank you for voting.
District residents passed the proposed budget for the 2013-14 school year 113-49. The bus proposition on the ballot also passed 130-32. The Board of Education seat was won by Tom Jory with 115 votes to 10 write-in votes.
The 2013-14 budget totals $7,769,410, increases spending by 2.54 percent, or $192,289, over the 2012- 13 budget and calls for a tax levy increase of 3.87 percent, or $109,793, which is at the district’s calculated tax levy “cap.”
The Board of Education worked very hard to develop a budget that emphasizes quality programming but also recognizes the difficult economy and the constraints it puts on taxpayers. Our goal was to build on our successes by focusing on operating efficiency and program efficacy.
Attached below are several documents related to the budget including the budget newsletter, 3-part budget detail document, School District Budget Notice, New York State Report Card, Property Tax Report Card, Fiscal Accountability Supplement, Administrative Salary Disclosure, and Exemption Impact Report.
We all share responsibility in educating our children; please call, email, or stop in if you have any questions, comments or concerns.
Sincerely,
